HELENE LOUVART, cinematographer:

Born, 1964 in Pontalier, France. Graduated in 1985 at Ecole Nationale Superieure Louis-Lumiere. One of the leading in the women’s wing of French cinematographers. In her reach career she has up to now more than 130 credits. Her start as cinematographer was in 1986 with the film CROSSED HEARTS, directed by Stephanie de Mareuil. Her international reputation was with the film WILL IT SNOW FOR CHRISTMAS (1995, directed by Sandrine Veysset). With this director she worked more frequently and the result are these films: VICTOR…PENDANT QU’IL EST TROP TARD (1998), MARTHA…MARTHA (2000), ONCE UPON A TOMORROW (2006), L’HISTOIRE D’UNE MERE (2014). Other renewed directors with whom she worked are: Wim Wenders in his documentary Masterpiece PINA (2009); Marc Fitoussi in the film COPACABANA (2009); Christophe Honore in MY MOTHER (2003); Christian Vincent in FOUR STARS (2005); Jacques Doillon in JUST ANYBODY (2007); with Alice Rohrwacher in 3 films: CORPO CELESTE (2010); WONDERS (2013) and the newest one LAZZARO FELICE (2017).
