MARIA VON HAUSSWOLFF, cinematographer:
She works dominantly as cinematographer, but is also a writer-director, editor and producer. Before debuting as a long feature cinematographer she shot 6 shorts feature and documentaries plus the feature documentary I REMEMBER WHEN I DIE in 2015. Next year she shot her first long feature PARENTS directed by Christian Tafdrup. Her first collaboration with the leading Icelandic writer director Hlynur Palmason was the film WINTER BROTHERS (2017). For both films she got The Bodil Award and for WINTER BROTHERS, Best Cinematography Debut at Camerimage in Poland and Best Cinematography at Seville European Film Festival.
