LESS IS MORE: PRE-WRITING WORKSHOP
The Pre-writing Workshop in Bitola is organized as one of the activities within the one year partnership of the North Macedonia Film Agency and Less is More for 2019. We are very happy to have LIM experts here in North Macedonia and we hope that this workshop will benefit our young authors and will stimulate them to create new quality ideas which will hopefully result in successful films. As a small country with limited funds for film it is crucial to have this kind of knowledge on how to construct a project from the beginning, how to think more creatively without spending a huge amount of money – In my opinion once you have this absolved you will always be one step forward with your skills in filmmaking. The Less is More program, since its beginning, has so far included Macedonian project “Sister” by Dina Duma (developed in the first LIM Workshop in 2017 – which is now in production) and the new project “Swap” (developing in this year’s LIM Workshop) by Gjorche Stavrevski – the director of our very successful film “The Secret Ingredient”. Also in the section Development Angels this year we have our producer Elena Stanisheva.
