The film critic and the artistic director of the “Manaki Brothers” festival, Blagoja Kunovski-Dore, will be the president of the film critics FIPRESCI jury from 18-26 April at the 41st edition of the A-list MIFF – Moscow International Film Festival, at the proposition of the secretary general Klaus Eder.
This will be one of Kunovski’s greatest acknowledgments as he will be the president of the critics’ jury at one of the 10 largest world film festivals. So far, Kunovski has been president of the FIPRESCI juries at the festivals in Istanbul, Rotterdam, Gothenburg, Stockholm, Geneva, Bydgoszcz.
The FIRPESCI jury at the 41st Moscow Film Festival will judge the 13 selected world films in the Main competition program, one of which will be chosen to receive the prestigious award of the world critics.
The five-member FIPRESCI jury in Moscow (which is larger for one member than the Main competition jury, the latter having only 4 members), aside Kunovski as its president, consists of the critics: Andrei Vasilenko from Russia, Andoni Iturbe Tolosa from Spain, Elena Rubashevska from Ukraine, and Sanjin Pejkovic from Sweden.
